MESHTASTIC SOS BROADCAST

Razorback’s Meshtastic SOS broadcast reaches other Razorback units within LoRa radio range only. It is not a satellite distress signal, and it does not replace a dedicated personal locator beacon (such as a Garmin inReach, ACR ResQLink, or SPOT device) or calling 911. Range depends entirely on terrain and real-world conditions — every Razorback in range extends the network, but no specific distance is guaranteed.

BATTERY & POWER

Razorback uses a LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) battery, chosen specifically for its stability and resistance to thermal runaway compared to other lithium chemistries. Like any battery, it can still be damaged or made unsafe through severe misuse, physical damage, or improper charging. Follow standard lithium battery handling and storage practices.
