I’m Patrick Green, the founder. My time in marine construction gave me a foundation in overbuilding things — building them to last. You could see it in our work next to everyone else’s in the area, and it’s stuck with me ever since.

As owner and operator of Grunt Armory LLC, I saw the other side of this industry up close: equipment that was either an obvious gimmick built to make a quick buck, or so specialized that you ended up needing to carry several other tools just to get the job done.

Growing up in a military household, I understood early how much it matters to be able to rely on the equipment you’re carrying in the field. Every product carrying the Off Grid Field Systems name has to meet that standard, or it doesn’t ship.
